The Izanagi Essential knife was born in response to a need: to offer cooking enthusiasts and professional chefs a simple and functional tool , designed to meet the essential requirements of a good knife: quality steel, long-lasting edge, ergonomics and, in this case, economy .

Since handcrafting a knife that meets all these characteristics and is affordable was unfeasible, we decided to collaborate with a company to create a model that maintained Andrés Maldonado's design, specifications, and quality controls.

From this close collaboration, the Izanagi Essential was born , an industrialized knife that, under the direct supervision of Maldonado Knife, combines functionality and accessibility. It is the brand's only model produced through an industrial process, designed to preserve the essence of our values ​​and standards.

The Izanagi is a kitchen knife designed for the modern chef who seeks maximum efficiency without compromising quality. With a 22cm blade made of AUS-8 stainless steel, this knife offers exceptional corrosion resistance and superior edge retention, ideal for intensive and prolonged use.
